Gertie the Goose

Gertie the Goose is a toy goose created to have different kinds of movements. When Gertie the Goose is pulled or rolled along the floor the wings move up and down like a flying goose.

Ideation and Sketching

The goal was to create a pull toy that had an additional function that regular pull toys did not. Gertie the goose was created to stay in the bird theme but could "flap" its wings when pulled or pushed along the floor.

Process

During the process of creating Gertie the Goose the wood pieces were laser cut and glued together. The edges were shaved down and the internal mechiancs were put inside and sealed in.
